So what are you going to do in order to promote your business for Labor Day?  Assuming you’re a retailer that looks at this holiday as a big profit producing weekend, now is the time to get into high gear.  We would recommend making a BIG push the Monday prior to get a jump on all the other advertisers who typically start advertising their message the Wednesday or Thursday prior to the holiday.  Make sure your creative cuts through the clutter and that you have offers that are truly remarkable.  In today’s world, a 10% discount is just not enough.  You need a least 20% off your regular prices to make any kind of dent.  We would recommend at least 40% off on merchandise to generate the kind of business you need.  You don’t have to make that discount applicable on everything, just on most items.  It’s amazing how customer traffic will feed on itself.  Pump up the excitement and start watching the customers roll on in!  Brian
